George Gallier, began his career in the movie industry in Paris working at Les Films du Losange with Margaret Menegoz, where he assisted Barbet Shroeder the director of the cult movies More and The Valley, also working with Eric Rohmer on Perceval le Gallois. Then came fashion photography, the modeling business and being at the avant-garde of visual arts. He launched what has become today's personal management standards for models, celebrities and actors. George Gallier managed the leading agency Prestige Model Management in Paris France, discovered models such as Laurence Treil, Estelle Lefebure, Estella Warren, Vanessa Duve, Connie Nielsen, Adoha Aboa and many more. Several of these models careers were launched by the magazine Jill the French Iconic fashion magazine partly owned by George Gallier in Paris. Photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Hans Fuerer, Patrick Demarchelier and Peter Beard shot for the magazine on a regular basis, fashion styling was covered by Babette Djian the co-founder and chief editor of Numero magazine. George Gallier moved to New York City to start American Model Management, a personal management modeling agency with the European know how, a first in United States. Most modeling agencies are disconnected networks spanning across the globe, the concept of American Model Management and of The Lions is to be involved in all aspects of the model's career, instead of merely following the talent's steps. We advise and build careers. The success was immediate and global, starting a trend that is on today, where all large talent management agencies have offset boutique agencies or "Image departments" to launch and manage careers of models actors and celebrities with high marketing potential. George Gallier is the former Owner/ Founder of The Lions Models LLC, the New York City modeling agency established in 2012 with partner Ron Burkle from the The Yucaipa companies, LLC
